As a Freelance Designer and Project Lead for THA, I oversaw the creation and construction of the new THA office, which involved demolishing the previous fitout and installing new flooring (screed, self-leveling, microtoping + parquet), custom suspended steel shelves with plant boxes (real greeneries) with attached customised desk bench, a pantry area, four office rooms, three small meeting cabins, one main meeting room, one small meeting room, and a storage area. January to July 2020 - Taunggyi, Myanmar (Burma)

Designer & Project director (Founder & Associate)

As the project lead at Bar Minn Land, I oversaw the design and construction of a distinctive restaurant housed in a historic British Empire-era building in the heart of Taunggyi, Shan State, Myanmar. The 360m2 restaurant has a seating capacity of 70 guests and features a completely redesigned interior that incorporates reclaimed teak wood and other traditional wood craft items. Additionally, the restaurant has a fully equipped 45m2 kitchen, a technical room with a generator backup and ATS system, and an office area outfitted with CCTV and POS systems. Notably, the restaurant's unique suspended plant installation is watered using an automatic system and receives natural sunlight through openings in the roof, creating a stunning and distinctive atmosphere. My management of this project from start to finish allowed me to showcase my construction and project management skills while delivering a successful and memorable restaurant experience.

I served as a Designer and Technical Project Director (Associate) for Asiatico Pub, a notable three-story restaurant venue in Nyaung Shwe, Shan State, Myanmar. With a 530m2 footprint, the building's custom steel structure and brick design required customized on-site joinery due to a lack of reliable suppliers in the area. The restaurant boasts a seating capacity of up to 300 patrons, and features amenities such as a power backup generator with ATS and substation, water treatment system, CCTV system, POS, and 2 bars areas, a fully equipped kitchen and 1 kitchen lift to distribute each floor. I incorporated unique decor elements, such as refurbished Art Deco furniture and antique pieces sourced from around the country, to create a distinctive atmosphere for diners.

The three-story building features a fully equipped kitchen, generator backup with ATS, water treatment system, CCTV system, POS, and Wifi, providing guests with modern amenities.

As a Construction Project Manager in Qatar, I oversaw two school construction sites. The first was a primary school building with a steel and aluminum structure, fiber board cladding, and centralized A/C, alarm, and firefighting systems. For the second site, an extension of an existing school building, I made the decision to use precast cellular concrete panels instead of traditional RC slabs, columns, and beams filled with concrete block work, which enabled us to complete the construction on time. The extension included the installation of a sprinkler system with a necessary pump room and two sports halls with an aluminum and steel structure. Additionally, I managed the installation of a new electrical substation, which was intended to supply power to the campus while complying with Qatar EPC regulations and standards.
