April till July 2022

Freelance Technical PM in KSA.

Managed three construction projects for international events in Saudi Arabia, including the construction of a 3000m2 Orangery style building in 2022  in the KAICC and refurbished it with a new decor for the following edition in 2023. Also transforming the Ritz Carlton Jeddah's helipad into a Festival Garden with around 300 labours to manage. Worked as part of the technical production team and collaborated with other directors to create gala cinemas and red carpet platforms for celebrity entrances.

Interior Designer and Construction PM in UAE.
I managed and executed a 400 m2 office fit-out project for THA in a Dubai tower, accommodating 35 employees. I was responsible for budget management, design conceptualization and implementation (including layout, furniture, lighting, storage, ventilation, and IT), quantity surveying, selection and negotiation of vendors and contractors, scheduling and coordination, technical problem-solving during construction, and administrative tasks such as securing permits, insurance, and safety inspections.

DUBAI EXPO 2020

Facility Manager in UAE.

I managed a team of 100 employees to provide services for the Hungary Pavilion during Expo 2020. This included selecting companies, recruiting staff, organizing documentation, managing schedules, logistics, access, discipline, and maintaining service quality throughout the six months of operation. I also provided monthly reports on services sold and maintained good relationships with the management team. The overall experience was successful, and the Hungarian Pavilion was satisfied with my services.

CONSULTANT & ENTREPRENOR

Project Director / Construction PM in Myanmar.

As a construction project manager and entrepreneur with six years of experience in Myanmar, I have overseen the construction of major restaurant projects, a six-story building, and an important logistic cold storage facility. In addition, I founded and managed a successful motorcycle touring company and contributed to the growth of multiple restaurants, overseeing a staff of over 150 employees in total. Through my experience in Myanmar, I have developed strong soft skills in communication, collaboration, and adaptability, and honed my ability to work effectively in complex and multicultural environments.

Project Manager in UAE and Qatar.

My tenure as a Project Manager, Site Manager, and Technical Manager at Electra from 2011 to 2015 in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar was a major milestone in my career. During this time, I managed the construction of luxury event setups, trade shows, government/non-governmental events, and school building projects, which were all significant achievements. I oversaw various aspects of the projects, such as budgeting, site management, feasibility studies, cost estimates, logistics procurement, quality and safety management, stakeholder relations, official documentation management, administration, and issue resolution.

I led a design study for a resort development project in Muang Sing, Laos. Despite being the only European person in the area, I effectively collaborated with the local team to develop detailed design plans using industry-standard software. This experience allowed me to refine my skills in technical design and project management, while also providing valuable exposure to cross-cultural collaboration and remote work environments.

During those two years, I worked as a gardener and designer, gaining experience in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces. As a gardener, I developed a strong understanding of plant species, their care requirements, and proper planting techniques. As a designer, I worked collaboratively with the team to create designs that met clients' needs while also adhering to aesthetic and functional principles. Through this experience, I developed strong communication and teamwork skills and an eye for detail that can contribute to future projects.
